TFP: Causeway and Lightning Story Part 2

Part 2

As Causeway was waiting for Lightning outside, she stood there watching Bulkhead, Wheeljack, and Miko playing a game since the three were bored.  The fembot gently smiled as she watched then turned her helm to the right hearing the sound of a car coming. There was Lightning approaching up to Causeway transforming  into his robot form having something behind her back. The fem leader smiled at her.

"Alright Lightning," she spoke. "What is it you want to show me?"

"Well...before we go there, there's something I made for you..." Lightning smiled back at Causeway.

"For me...?" Causeway looked in slight shock. "Okay...what did you made me?"

Pausing the activity and being nosy, Bulkhead, Wheeljack, and Miko were looking at Causeway and Lightning in the distance. Then they looked at each other.

"Any idea what your girlfriend is doing with Causeway, Wheeljack?" Miko asked and joked as well.

"Don't push it, kid." Wheeljack glanced down at Miko. "Lightning and I aren't fully together. Anyway, don't know what she and Causeway are talking about. She told me that that she need some time on her own today."

"That doesn't look like she's taking her time alone, Jackie." said Bulkhead. "I mean, she is still talking to someone."

"Hey, what's that in her hand?" Miko pointed what was in Lightning's hands.

In the ninja's hands was an energon charm necklace she crafted showing it to Causeway. The fembot leader looked in shock and slowly took the necklace staring at it. Miko then smiled all the way.

"Ohhh, I forgot it's Mother's Day...!" said the girl as the wreckers got all confused.

"What's Mother's Day?" the two mechs asked at the same time.

"It's a day for all mother's that receive gifts from their kids."

"Well it's weird that Lightning knows about this day on this planet." said Bulkhead.

"I think I know how she knows about it." said Wheeljack.

"What?" Miko looked at Wheeljack. "How'd she know about Mother's Day? Come on, Wheeljack. You know you can't keep secrets from us."

"She has a point, Jackie." the green mech chuckled.

"I would want to tell you guys," Wheeljack replied. "but I'm not spilling any beans since I promised Lightning. She only told me and the chief." 

"So Causeway doesn't know either?" Miko looked back at the two femmes.

"Nope."

"Well let's continue our game." Bulkhead grinned a bit. "We'll leave the two femmes be."

The three friends walked off to another area and Lightning and Causeway remained there. Causeway had wore the necklace and smiled at the ninja.

"Lightning," she spoke. "This is beautiful."

"Thanks..." Lightning giggled a bit. "It's a Mother's Day gift."

"Mother's Day?" The fembot leader looked up at the young one. "...Ah, I heard about that human holiday...but why me? I am no mother."

Lightning suddenly made a depressing smile now fidgeting a bit. She then let out a sad sigh.

"Would you like to see this location?" Lightning asked. "I'll explain it to you there..."

Causeway nodded noticing Lightning's expression on her faceplate. "Yes, of course."

The two femmes then transformed into their vehicle mode and Lightning led the way over to the location as Causeway followed behind.
